Onstage

I have been performing my poetry on stages and in public spaces for the past 10 years. I combine movement, rhythm, and song to create a unique experience for all.

One year for the Poetry Brothel’s Masquerade Ball, I made a paper mâché mask out of social justice images and articles as well as a many layered costume. Inspired by my years with the Brothel kittening for the burlesque dancers, I tried my hand at a new level of vulnerability.

In 2017, I auditioned to be a part of Jonathan Pillot’s Curly Monologues at the 14th and 92nd Street Y.

It was an honor to share a softer side.

My performance life began with Artists Without Walls, a cross-cultural arts community in New York City. After a few years of performing and participating in their events, artist Kathleen Bennett Bastis asked me to perform with Annette Homann and Martina Fiserova for the opening night of her exhibition Tossed and Found.
